Publication of “Progress Report” by the Japan Transport Safety Board, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism

On the website of the Japan Transport Safety Board (JTSB) of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, there is a "progress report" regarding the collision accident with the Numazu Port quay of our pleasure boat "Chidori" that occurred on October 5, 2025.(Publication based on Article 25, Paragraph 4 of the Japan Transport Safety Board Establishment Act) has been released.

We would like to once again offer our deepest apologies to the injured passengers, their families, the local community, and everyone involved as a result of this accident.

We take the contents of the progress report published today seriously and sincerely, and would like to report on our response and future initiatives as follows.




1. Cooperation with the investigation by the Japan Transport Safety Board (JTSB)

 Immediately after the accident occurred, we have fully cooperated with the Japan Transport Safety Board's investigation to determine the cause. Although this announcement is an interim progress report that will be made when it is expected that it will be difficult to prepare a final investigation report within one year of the accident, we will continue to sincerely and fully cooperate with the investigation, with the aim of compiling a final report in the future.


2. Regarding the rebuilding of the safety management system and the implementation status of measures to prevent recurrence

 Our company takes seriously the "Order on Ensuring Transport Safety" from the Chubu Transport Bureau, and based on the "improvement report" we submitted, we have rebuilt our safety management system and implemented and established various preventive measures to prevent such an accident from occurring again.


3. Regarding civil compensation for victims and future responses

Regardless of the progress report of this investigation, our company recognizes that it is an important responsibility to respond to customers who have been harmed by this accident.
We will continue to provide sincere and appropriate compensation procedures and provide compassionate support to customers who have suffered damage, in cooperation with their attorneys and insurance companies.


 Our entire company will work together to thoroughly conduct business operations with safety as our top priority, and will do our best to regain the trust of local residents and customers.
